The Mayor of Limassol, Nikos Nikolaidis, said that thanks to the co-financing of the European Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund and the Republic of Cyprus, the project “Limassol, One City the Whole World” continues for the fifth year to offer to TCN’s a set of carefully designed services and activities.
The Head of the European Funds Unit of the Ministry of Interior, Mr. Konstantinos Kyprianou, noted that the project, which is part of the “Local Government Integration Programs”, exploits the diversity and multicultural identity of the city and the province of Limassol, contributing decisively to ensuring the cohesion of society.
He also pointed out that the EU has raised over 30% of its funding to the Republic of Cyprus, with the available budget in the current programming period, amounting to €91 million for the implementation of actions dealing with the management of migratory flows.
