With children against racism!

With the slogan “No to Racism, All Different – All Equal” and on the occasion of the celebration of Children’s Day and Europe Day, the Agios Athanasios Municipality is organizing a large multicultural festival this Friday, 18 May 2018, from 18:00 to 21:00, at Eirini Square.

The aim of the festival is for the children to understand the concepts of diversity and mutual respect and learn how to live in harmony with all people, wherever they come from. The event is an activity of the program ‘’Limassol, one city the whole world’’, and is co-funded by the European Asylum, Immigration and Integration Fund and the Republic of Cyprus.

The rich program of the Festival includes a variety of artistic, informative and recreational activities for attendees, such as traditional dances from local and foreign bands, workshops for music, handicraft and painting, games, face painting and original exhibitions by the Open School of the Municipality.

The event will be attended by MEPs Dimitris Papadakis and Kostas Mavridis. In addition to the Festival, a live live radio link will be hosted with Love Fm and Tasos Tryfonos!
