Renewed and longer this year’s
Photographic Competition of the Limassol Municipality

The promotion of Limassol, as a multicultural coastal metropolis, is the aim of the new Photographic Competition, organized for the second consecutive year by the Limassol Municipality and the Cyprus Photographic Society (Limassol dpt). The Contest is entitled “Faces of Limassol: Capturing Diversity ” and the participants are invited to highlight the social, financial and cultural contribution of immigrants and third country nationals to the local community, through the photographs they submit.

This year’s Competition will be extended from April to November 2018, so that the participants will be able to cover, inter alia, major artistic/cultural events organized by the Limassol Municipality and its Partners.

The competition is open to both professional and amateur photographers and those interested can register until Saturday, November 17th 2018. The best photos of the competition will be included in an exhibition to be held at the end of the year and the first three photographs will be awarded with cash prizes of € 300, € 200 and € 100 respectively.

The Photo Competition is conducted within the framework of the integration project by local authorities ” Limassol, one city the whole world ” and is financed by the Asylum, Immigration and Integration Fund and the Republic of Cyprus.
